Replacing side path and garden with weed matting and pebbles

We would like to sort out the landsçaping on one side of our rental property. Some of our old concrete side path will be removed during some upcoming plumbing works. The cabbage tree stump will also be removed. We would like the rest of the path removed and the weeds in the garden strip beside the path to be pulled out. This side garden/path strip is approx 14x2.1 m between the house and the side fence and 1.2 mx 5.4m between the garage and the front of the house ( see photos). Then we would like the whole area covered in weed matting. We will be ordering 3.5 m3 of pebbles which can be delivered to the driveway. That will need to transferred to the side garden by wheelbarrow through the garage (the driveway is only 3m away from the side yard) so that the whole area ends up covered in pebbles to a depth of approx 10cm. A garden bed edging will also need to be installed in the fence side to stop the pebbles escaping under the fence. The tennant is very helpful but she does have a very large, though well trained dog. The plumber is placing a temporary fence to keep the dog out of this area while he is working. It may be possible to liase with the plumber so you could take advantage of that. I am waiting on exact time the plumbing job will be done but I was told it would be 23 Nov so I expect this job to be needed by December.
