Job description

Landscape Retaining Walls (Below 1.5m)
Auckland

I had planned to do this myself but have run out of time so looking to get ideally a fixed quote So this is what i am wanting to achieve... There is the plan image and some photos of the front yard. (Disregard the black pipe running in the pictures as it is not being used. The blue is the water pipe that needs to be behind the retaining wall) I have marked the post slots in the plan image to make it easier to understand Posts 1-5 - Retaining wall; 500mm high; Posts 5-8 - Retaining wall; starting at 500mm and then sloping downwards to post 8. Gradient is flexible Posts 5-11 - Fence 1100mm high with a gate between posts 9-10. Posts 1-5 - Fence 1100 mm high (from atop the retaining wall) posts 6-8 - have been dug and they were easy Posts 1-5 - i tried digging and i hit volcanic rock & concrete in one; so then i rented a breaker and broke out a trench trying to break through rock. Have only managed to make a trench which is 230mm-400mm deep Posts 9-11 - have not done them yet. So the hard work here is going to be either breaking rock on the posts 1-5 & putting in wooden posts; or figuring out some other way to do that section retaining wall. I had bought a bunch of timber for the job 17 bags x Drymix Hi-strength Quick to set 25kgs --- retainer posts 6x 1000mm - Post numbers 1-6 in image for retaining wall 1x 600mm - post number 7 1x 300mm - post number --- fence post 3x 1600mm - Fence posts 9-11 5x 1500mm - Fence posts (to bolt on to retaining posts --- Retaining Boards 2x 2200 mm (Side sloped retaining wall top two boards) 2x 4200 mm (back retaining wall top two boards) --- Retaining Boards 1x 3400mm (Side sloped retaining wall bottom boards) 1x 4200mm (back retaining wall bottom boards) 2x 2500mm - extra 1x 960mm - extra I haven't bought the fence rails/palings/gate for the front. I do have these available --- Fence rail 2x 2900 mm Any questions please feel free to email/msg

Brad was great to work with; came in one Sunday , gave a quote and confirmed by end of week of coming back the next Sunday. and got the work done on time. Great work ethic, understood our needs and what we were trying to achieve and quoted for us based on making it best bang for buck. Fun guy and great ideas that he offered up to us free of charge as well.
