Make-A-Wish Foundation Wish for Teenager - Outdoor Area Design

Claudia here from the Make-A-Wish Foundation. We grant life changing wishes to critically ill 3 – 17 year olds here in New Zealand (but the foundation actually is based all over the world). Now this might be quite an unusual request that is a bit out of the box… I am working on a really lovely wish for a teen here in Auckland, who’s one true Wish is to have a lovely outdoor area planned and designed at her family home so she can host friends in her own space. She suffers from Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia, and so we really hope this wish will bring some joy into her life. The family are nearly finished paving the outdoor area, and are constructing their own pergola. I am looking for people/a company who can help me plan and design this area, of which has to be moveable and not include permanent features (we are not able to add capital gains to the value of the house so everything we plan must not be permanent, or is able to be removed if the family decide to move houses). Our Wish teenager is based in Orakei, Auckland, and it would be great if I could find someone to come and look at the site and help to plan her dream area. The area is extremely windy so I am looking for wind shelter, outdoor furniture, landscaping (planting, pot plants, nothing permanent), fire pit, BBQ…… anything else fun and creative for an area that an older teen would love to hang out in with her friends. So, I am ideally looking for a landscape artist or designer to help plan and implement the outdoor area, plus outdoor furniture etc. I thought I would get in touch with the community to see what could be done! As a charity we rely on donations and discounts to help grant our amazing wishes, so if there is anything you can do to help out, that would be much appreciated (but of course not expected, just thought I would put the feelers out).
