lay small amount artificial grass

I have a small rear area with a deck/paved courtyard and small pebbled area. I am hoping to lay an area of artifical grass specifically for my dog and would like advice/service plus maybe some further planting in pebbled area where currently I have some flax plants which may need to be removed. I am not wanting to spend more that a few hundred dollars in total but would appreciate some advice, thank you.
