Irrigation system gone mad

Not urgent. Electronic irrigation system installed maybe in 90s, (prior to us living here). Started popping up and watering and we can't control it by the electronic board. We started to dig for the solenoid box the previous owners said is buried, but bamboo has grown around/ through it. Water is still dribbling out of some of the spigots despite turning a screw in the top of all of them (approx 15?) We need someone who knows what they are doing with irrigation systems to switch it all off or remove stuff, as we don't need irrigation. You might need gumboots as there's quite a bit of water where we think the solenoids are buried... Available during the week mostly, weekends too, but as stated, not urgent.
