Building a new home, the exterior is ready to be painted and gib is being installed this week.. I would like some input on colours, both inside and out. The home is a unique, one off design (from scratch.. not a mashup of a "proven" plan!) independently built contemporary style in a superb central mapua location. 3 degree pitch roof custom built doors, linea and stria cladding. Very minimalistic... lots of quality, the design brief was that this home needs to win the NZ master builders of the year for its category... and the house is beginning to show glimpses of its ability to do so. There will be excellent exposure through the marketing of the home for all the tradespeople that were involved, in fact we will be have a high profile open day, with all tradies represented, (from architect, builder, plumber and sparkie right through to soft furnishings, landscape, colour designer and home stager) This will be run with the view that potential home builders can see that there are genuinely affordable options other than project house building companies that exist for them. Keen to hear from any colour consultants, time is very tight... the painter wants to start the exterior at the end of this week. Note: this form below has asked for our budget, we are not working with a budget in the traditional sense of the term. We assess each submission for services on its merits and decide based on our perception of value. We have the ability to pay, we simply need the confidence that paying for a service will add that value. Accordingly we have put down $1000 - $4999 because something must be filled out in this box.
