Interior Design

We've decided it's time to renovate. We bought our house some time ago with the intent of making it our own, but...y'know, life got in the way. The house is not old, but was built with the cheapest possible materials. The owner of the time was going to do up the house when "the kids left"! Nothing in our house matches, everything is painted yellow(!!), it feels like its from 70's! (although it was built in the 2000's) I want to coordinate the house, just for a change... :-) Now, I don't have an artistic bone in my body, I need help. This is primarily about design, although we are prepared to do some minor renovations as required to turn this "Accommodation" into a home. I'm fully anticipating replacing/redesigning the kitchen and main bathroom.
