Underfloor Insulation Retrofit & GVB Installation

Address: -- Western Road, Laingholm, Auckland
Approximate Floor Area: ~130 sq metres
Crawl Space Height: Variable (approx. 750mm under the dining/central area, tapering to 400mm at the corners).
Project Scope:Foil Removal: Safe removal and disposal of existing 1994-era underfloor foil insulation.
Ground Vapour Barrier (GVB): Supply and installation of a 250-micron polythene moisture barrier, pinned and taped according to NZS --- standards.
Underfloor Insulation: Supply and installation of bulk polyester insulation (e.g., GreenStuf, Mammoth, or similar).

I am specifically requesting Polyester over Polystyrene due to existing dampness concerns.
Please quote for the highest R-value compatible with my joist depth (ideally R1.8 or higher).
Ceiling Top-up (Optional Item): Please provide a separate line item to top up existing ceiling insulation to meet current Healthy Homes standards where space allows.

Please confirm your earliest available start date and estimated duration of the job.
Please confirm you are a member of the IAONZ (Insulation Association of NZ) or provide details of your LBP (Licensed Building Practitioner) status.
