Our kitchen ceiling is very old (1980s) and needs either replacing or a new skin on the top. The current ceiling has marks from old installations, enamel paint and there is a new raised area where the new rangehood has been installed. I don't think it is a very big job as the kitchen is about 7 x 3 metres and incorporates a small dining area.
