warm cottage?

Looking to remove existing insulation and replace with new - possibly spray foam. It is a timber cottage built in 1910. access via trap door and also I will remove a few sheets of corrugated iron for easier removal of old bats. T&G Rimu ceiling om Rimu rafters.
