carport ceiling insulation - bedroom underfloor insulation

We would like to get the carport ceiling to be insulated, so the bedroom above it stays warm in winter. There is no direct access to install the underfloor insulation. Most likely ceiling in carport will have to removed , and then put back in. I believe ceiling is made of wooden boards Area is approximately 4 x 5 metres Thanks
