Wall insulation

Hi there, We have just purchased our first home and wanting to reline and insulate all the walls of the house (eventually.) We're wanting to first do with the living room and are going room by room as we save to do more. The property is a 1960's Wainuiomata home with building paper (some is quite worn though.) Ideally we want to use PinkBatts but are open to other options too. Photos attached are of our living room currently (we figured it would be cheaper to tear down the walls ourselves, and we wanted to have a look!) Cheers!
