To whom it may concern, We had some damage to our kitchen walls following cyclone cook and our insurance (AA) requested the following: Thank you for sending through your Online Claim Form regarding the water damage from Cyclone Cook to your kitchen wall. This Claim has been lodged for consideration as there are several factors to consider; - The cause of the water damage to the wall needs to be determined so that we can advise the extent of cover under your Policy (if any). - The Home Insurance policy is designed to cover for sudden & unforeseen damage to your home, not Gradual Damage (with the exception of the benefit per page 15 of the Policy document attached). Therefore we would ask you to appoint a builder to attend to identify the cause of the loss. Then please telephone us or contact us on the above email, to advise and we can discuss further.
