Weathertightness assessment for CCC (historic consent), Wainuiomata

We’re looking to engage a registered building surveyor or weathertightness consultant to carry out a targeted weathertightness assessment for a residential property in Wainuiomata. The assessment is required to support a Code Compliance Certificate (CCC) application for a historic building consent. Council has completed the CCC final inspection and identified moisture-related concerns that require an independent report addressing E2 External Moisture and B2 Durability. The scope we’re seeking includes: Identifying the likely cause and extent of moisture Confirming whether framing or other building elements are affected Recommending proportionate remediation suitable for council sign-off This is not a pre-purchase inspection. The report is specifically for council compliance purposes, and we are looking for someone experienced in CCC-related or weathertightness assessments. We’re keen to hear from providers who: Regularly undertake weathertightness or building envelope assessments Have experience working with councils on CCC or historic consent matters Can provide a clear written report suitable for council review Please get in touch with availability, an indicative cost range, and any relevant experience.
