We have a 1960s house and want to install central heating system (also want to consider a cooling option) to replace 2 existing reticulated based gas heaters. We have reticulated gas already connected to house (for heating, water heater and kitchen hobs) but willing to consider electric based options. The house is two storey with all bedrooms and main living rooms on the second floor with only garage and small rumpus room on ground floor. Heating would be for four bedrooms, two upstairs living areas, hallway and one downstairs rumpus room. There appears to be reasonable amount of underfloor capacity for ducting and any internal units should be able to installed in basement area. Note - this job is also listed under Heating - Central Heating as keen to review both Heat Pump and Gas central heating options to meet our needs
