Job description

Flue Install or Repair
Wellington

The wood-burner was removed many years ago but the flue was left in place. This job is to remove the flue. The flue starts on the middle level of a three-storey house and goes straight up through the roof. It passes through a plasterboard ceiling, a wooden floor, another plasterboard ceiling and finally the roof, which is made of decramastic. As well as removing all parts of the flue we'd like the holes in the ceilings filled and painted (we can provide paint), the hole in the floor filled and obviously the hole in the roof covered and sealed.

Sam was a great person to deal with, from initial contact to completion he was very responsive by email, text or phone call. He presents as a straightforward, friendly and honest person, keen to do a good job and to give the customer the best service that he can. The initial removal of the flue was completed quickly and patching work was done to a good standard, although it took a couple of goes to get the plastering right. Sam was tidy and cleaned up thoroughly.
