Heatpump Maintenance Te Atatu South - Low heat and minor ticking noise

I have a Mitsubishi electric MSZ-GA25VA heat pump which does not provide much heat when turned up to maximum temperature and fan. I think it might need re gasing. Also, it makes a slight ticking noise when it operates. The noise comes from the inside unit and it sounds like something rotating is brushing against something. Access is easy for both inside and outside units, just need a small foot stool to reach the inside unit. The outside unit is on the grass next to the house and can drive a vehicle next to it if necessary.
