Supply & Install Pyro Classic Wood Burner (Full Service – Consent to CCC)

I’m looking for an experienced, licensed builder (or company) to manage the full end-to-end process of installing a Pyro Classic wood burner in my home.

This is a turnkey job. The contractor will be responsible for everything from initial assessment through to final sign-off and Code Compliance Certificate (CCC).

Scope of Work:

Site visit and assessment of a suitable location for wood burner installation
Confirm compliance with local council regulations and clean air requirements
Preparation and submission of building consent application
Liaising with council throughout the consent process
Supply (or coordination of supply) of Pyro Classic wood burner (or approved equivalent if discussed)
Hearth construction (if required) in compliance with manufacturer and NZ building code requirements
Flue system supply and installation (including roof penetration and flashing)
Any required structural modifications
Installation of the wood burner in accordance with manufacturer specifications
Coordination of inspections as required
Final sign-off and obtaining Code Compliance Certificate (CCC)

Requirements:

Must be a Licensed Builder
Proven experience installing compliant wood burners/fireplaces
Familiarity with council consent processes and CCC requirements
Ability to manage subcontractors if needed (e.g. roofers, electricians)
Provide timeline and clear breakdown of costs (labour, materials, consent fees, etc.)
Provide references or examples of similar completed work

Preference for contractors who can handle both supply and installation
Please include estimated timeframe from consent submission to completion
