Repair chimney cavity cover

I need the top plate as shown in the photo replaced. I am unsure what material to use. Obviously it needs to be heat resistant. Possibly a sheet metal? Looking for someone who knows what is required to come and replace. also sweep chimney while you are there. Thanks
