Log burner flue repair

My house in Shirley, Christchurch is having the masonry chimney removed by a builder, who is also repairing the roof and replacing concrete tiles where needed. The existing masonry chimney has a metal flue installed inside of it from the insert log burner, which is installed on an internal wall, the masonry chimney is being removed down to ceiling level. I require someone to work in with the builder and to install external sleeving to the existing flue to ensure the log burner is safe to use.
