Appliance: Fujitsu heat pump Indoor unit: ASTG14LUCB Outdoor unit: AOTG14LUCB Problem (known from previous tech visit / invoice): Previous technician reported: Front cover / front panel clip is broken and the unit won’t operate unless the cover is properly secured. Remote control is faulty (not working). No other faults were reported at that time. What I need you to do (scope): Confirm diagnosis on site (cover/clip/panel issue + remote). Provide 2–3 repair options with pricing (parts + labour, itemised): Option A (preferred if safe): repair/replace the broken clip / latch / mounting or otherwise secure the cover properly so the unit operates normally, without replacing the full front panel if possible. Option B: replace front panel / fascia / front cover assembly (quote should include exact Fujitsu part number, lead time, and warranty). Remote: offer replacement remote options: lowest-cost compatible replacement (aftermarket OK), and genuine Fujitsu remote (if available), include part numbers and price. After repair, test heating/cooling operation and confirm normal run. Important constraints (please read): No work to proceed without written approval of the option and total price. Please include warranty terms for parts and labour. Please provide the exact part numbers for any parts you propose (not just the model). If you believe replacement of the whole unit is necessary, provide a ballpark supply+install for a comparable new system — but only after confirming the current unit condition. Budget guidance: I’m comparing quotes because an earlier quote seemed high for plastic panel + remote. Looking for a cost-effective, sensible fix. Access / timing: Tenant/PM access can be arranged.
