Chris charges $70 an hour then adds GST to everything. He didn't add a wooden pole to a concrete foundation as quoted, plus used less cement as only one pole needed bolting down this way in the end. When I asked for a discount on final quote due to the work not being done he dismissed it and threatened me with a debt collector when I took off an hours work and cost of unused cement. Never mentioned lack of wooden post. Extremely inflexible given the situation.

"Client was given a fixed quote to erect the carport , which she agreed to and even mentioned that it was "very reasonable " . I suggested we purchase new stronger dynabolts as the ones provided were not suitable , again she agreed . Then she asked me to do another job ( not related to the original quote ) then refused to pay me for it on completion .She did eventually pay admitting her error but didn't change her review ???"
