Repair of lock on stationary housebus

Good morning, I live in Murupara, just outside Rotorua. I live in a stationary house bus. There's a problem with either the door or the lock, I'm not sure which. Basically if you shut the door from the outside, it can't be opened again. This means I can't secure my home when I go out as I have to leave the door open, otherwise I won't be able to get back inside! I'm pretty sure it's the lock or the door handle but not being a locksmith myself I can't say that for sure. I need someone to go out to my bus and quote my landlord, Mr Lindsey Dolbel, on the cost of the repair.
