Replace water damaged door frame

Door frame has rotten due to water damage (condensation) over the years. Damage appears to be extensive and cannot be fixed by filling with putty. I guess the timber need to replaced in full or a part has to be cut and replaced. It is an external door, with late 1980s aluminium and wooden frame.
