Building a pelmet, installing door handles #2

We need to extend a curtain pelmet (wooden) in our bedroom - approx 70cm long. We also require two door handles to be installed, and a new deadlock to be installed on a separate door. Flexible timeframes - preferably sooner rather than later, however. Jobs should be relatively quick and easy :)
