Deck extension and replace existing fence
Job description
I'd like to extend the existing deck and replace the existing trellis fence with a solid one so I don't see the neighbours (and they don't see me). Photo 1: I'll remove the trellis fence so the deck can be extended three or so feet. It will be 'floating' - so no fence between the deck and the bamboo that's currently there. Photo 2: Taken from the side of the house. The desk will extend out and end just before the bamboo hedge on the left. This is where the under-house access is, so needs to be open underneath. Photo 3: This is the trellis fence that I'd like replaced with a solid one - and for the fence to extend along the length of the new deck to hide the neighbour's white shed (you can see it at the second photo, at the back). Photo 4: Another view of the trellis fence. Whilst you're there, we might also discuss tarting up the remaining fence to bring it to the same height as the fence on the deck. If you look at photo 4, you'll see that there's a solid fence with a trellis at the top, which steps down in height. I'd like to look at options where we could make this fence the same height as the deck fence - perhaps with a higher trellis option or something - to provide more privacy. To be discussed.

Mark arrived ahead of time to do the work, and worked quickly and efficiently to get the job done ahead of schedule. Mark provided examples of finishes to select from. The finished deck and fence looks great!
