Am wanting a skilled person to do a range of small jobs in my new downtown Auckland apartment with easy access and parking. Whilst I will deal directly with the curtaining and carpeting suppliers, I would prefer to deal directly with one person for the other tasks that need doing. That way, the whole key/security access/parking issue relevant to an apartment, will be much easier. * The kitchen is sadly lacking in storage and food prep space. I would like a built in cabinet (with worktop) in front of (kitchen-side) and below (lounge-side) the breakfast bar. If built-in, I would consider matching the top of this new unit with a resurfacing of the existing stainless steel bench. I need the person to listen to my kitchen needs and supply, make, install a solution * The very industrial looking (with pipe exposed) bathroom basin needs a white basin/vanity, and taps, installed. I would buy from Bunnings or Placemakers but need the person to collect/lug. * Bathroom light fitting above mirror needs replacing with a 3-spot fitting. * A bl**%@ GINORMOUS mirror needs to be removed from the lounge wall (1.9 x 2.5m!!! with not a bracket in sight, therefore glued it would seem) ~ I will list on TM for $1 reserve for removal; if it does not sell I just need the damn thing removed and outta my hair. * Painting throughout with a bit of plastering (for aforesaid mirror holes) * Laminate flooring needs repolishing (darker) * Laminate kitchen cupboards need repolished to match floor ~ is this possible ~~ or do I need to replace the doors??? * Various very minor issues (upladder jobs and ranchslider washing) that my unladder-friendly hips/joints don't allow. Work to start late next week if possible (14 April) and be finished within 7-10 days.
