Bungalow paint and window
Job description
We want some quotes for external cleaning and painting of our Wellington bungalow. Two of the external walls probably have to go back to the wood as the paint is peeling. 2 other walls are newer and need water blasting. Woodwork around a bay window needs replacing as part of this, and we think it makes sense to replace the window and to put in new double glazed windows at the same time. So we need a painter who can tie in with a qualified builder.

Whisk Renovations' quote was the highest of the three prices we got, but we liked the fact that being a joiner by trade, Jeff was able to make and supply the joinery we required. It was a happy choice. Jeff and his team did a bloody wonderful job of our re-paint. Workmanship was first-rate (and Nick, the builder, worked in atrocious conditions at times to keep the job moving). Comms were great: there was extra work required (as you'd expect from a 90-year-old wooden house), but no surprises.
