Replace old 1960's slotted slat window with a fixed piece of glass

This old 1960's slotted slat window must go! It is drafty, and it lets a lot of noise into the house when the neighbours play music. The bathroom contains another large proper opening window nearby, so this old slatted window does not need to open anymore. We want this old slotted window replaced with one fixed piece of glass that does not open. Ideally we want the new pane of glass to be extra thick to reduce noise transmission.
