Extension to 1969 house

We're looking at adding a front door, hall way and study on to the front of our 1969 group home house. It would be about 2.5 meters off the front and about 5 meters wide. We are looking at bopping the kitchen out to the eaves (sp?) for about 4 meters of the kitchen to create more floor space in front of the bench. THe kitchen doesn't need replacing. Just moving forward 60cm or so. The waste for the sink goes outside to a drain directly outside the kitchen window. Will this cause a problem as...

Window frame needs replacing

I have a window in my basement garage that needs replacing and the flashing needs sealing also to stop water leaking down into the frame. I also have a frame/step along the bottom of a sliding door which is quite flimsy and needs support/strengthening or replacing - for the benefit of the photo I have placed some wedges under it to show how big the gap is.. I need this done in the next week ideally as this is a rental and new tenants move in on 11th feb.
