I spent 8 years overseas and during this time my mirror was stored in a shed. It now looks as though it has fly spots on it - I guess the damp affected the backing on the mirror. From what I have read on the internet, it would appear that I may need to have it stripped and re-silvered, but I do not want to spend a lot of money getting it repaired as I am a Senior Citizen, so I am thinking I may have to just put up with it. It isn't TOO bad, it just always looks like the mirror needs cleaning!!! I would appreciate any thoughts on this matter, as I received the mirror as a 21st present, many years ago!! It is 26 x16 inches, which I think is 66 x 40.06 cms?? Sorry, it says below to add photos of the work, but I am not that computer savvy!!
