Install cat door - currently double glazed may need replacing

Hi All, We are needing a cat door installed at the front of our house. The size of the glass pane is approx 60cm height x 40cm width. It is currently double glazed. I believe you will need to replace the glass with a single glazed glass in order to install the cat door? If so, we would need the glass to be safety glass and non-see thru (similar to the one currently). Please see a photo attached. Looking forward to receiving your quotes. Cheers
