Terminate Gas Pipe

I have a gas pipe that is already terminated but it is slightly protruding out of the floor. I need the pipe terminated again below the wooden floor. There is access to the subfloor. Or we can also push the gas pipe through the floor. most likely will need to cut a bit of the wood to make a bigger gap.
