Licensed Gasfitter Needed to Inspect / Repair or Replace LPG Gas Stove

Job image

Job description

Gasfitting Papakura, Papakura

Published on 1st June 2026

Hi, I need a licensed gasfitter to inspect an LPG gas stove at a rental property.

The tenant reports the following issues:

Two burners have not worked properly since they moved in several years ago.
One burner works but the gas flow is very weak, so it is not practical for cooking.
The main working burner can cut out in the middle of cooking, even though the LPG bottles are full.
LPG bottles were delivered last week.
Both LPG bottle valves are open.
The hose appears fine.
The stove is clean.
There is no smell of gas in or around the house.

I need someone to check the full LPG stove setup, including burners, jets/injectors, regulator, hose, gas pressure, and flame failure/safety devices.

Please advise whether the stove can be repaired economically or whether it should be replaced.

If replacement is required, I would also need proper installation/connection and the required gas safety certification.

This is for a rental property, so I would like the issue checked as soon as reasonably possible.

Please respond with your availability, call-out/inspection cost, and whether you can also supply/install a replacement LPG stove or cooktop if needed.

P.S: I have a short video from the tenant showing the gas burner issue. Please let me know the best mobile number and I can send it through by WhatsApp or text.

Thanks,
George
