Decommission 2 gas heaters
Job description
My gas meter has been removed. I now want to dispose of my 2 gas heaters - a large one in the lounge, and a small wall-mounted one in the hallway. My understanding is that this removal needs to be done by a gas fitter, and the internal gas-pips need to be capped-off. I am at home from today 6th November through to (most of) Monday 11th.

When I got my gas meter removed (the only way to stop the daily supply charge) I was left with my 2 old gas heaters attached to the walls. Even with no gas entering the house, I couldn't remove the heaters myself because the internal gas-piping needed to be sealed-off by a gas fitter. It was great that Accrete Plumbing and Gas could do the work the next day. They took the ancient heaters away and safely sealed the pipes. I'd certainly use them again.
