I have removed my electric hot water cylinder and now considering a gas califont as replacement. I own & live under the house in a flat which has a kitchen/bathroom shower. The dwelling above me has 2 showers, bathrooms / kitchen. Up until now we both get hot water from the one cylinder. To keep the gas refill cost separate I would consider separate califonts at a size to suit each area. This choice will depend on cost & viability. Our source of water is 'tank water', and has easy location for power connection.
