Job description

Gasfitting
Auckland

Vector will be installing mains natural gas to my house by 18th June - see attached photo for likely meter position and main bathroom is right above this area. I already have a Rinnai Infinity A26 water heater (natural gas) and a Rinnai fire (model: IBF) in LPG. House is a 1960's timber bungalow in Remuera. Services and underfloor is very accessible as I have a very tall basement. The current wood fireplace is an open burning fire with a 9 inch (diameter) galvanised iron flue. Hoping to use the existing flue. The fire is surrounded by precast concrete surrounds full height of house on its back and both sides. Currently the front of the fireplace is boarded up with GIB. I will remove this GIB. Refer to attached drawing and photos of the fireplace. The Rinnai gas fire I have is currently set to LPG so will first have to be converted to burn on natural gas. The facing panel is also missing a top lourve which will need to be replaced. The part number from Rinnai for the lourve is 10191 in stainless steel. I require the following work: - Change current low pressure hot water cylinder to the Infinity gas water heater; - Convert my Rinnai gas fire insert to burn on natural gas; - Install the Rinnai gas fire into the existing wood fireplace; - Add the missing lourve onto the gas final facing panel - All work needs to be certified.

Dave was very helpful and skilled at his work. The gas fire and water heater was installed to a high standard and works perfectly. Dave stuck to his budget and schedule. His communication was excellent too. I would highly recommend Dave for your complex plumbing and gasfitting needs and I do hope to work with him in the future.
