Gas fireplace repair

Hi, trying to get my gas fireplace going and afraid I may blow the building up. I do rely on the fireplace for heating. Happy to trouble shoot over facetime if needed, just do need to get it going. It's a Real Fires fire place, but that company went into voluntary liquidation years ago. Pilot light is working, there just seems to be a problem with the gas connection. ZIt does look like a small plug has been pulled inside the fireplace, but I can't see where it should be plugged in again.
