Fireplace installation

We are wanting to install a new free standing log-burner at our property. Before we look at options, we need someone to check the existing fireplace and chimney to determine whether the existing log-burner can just be replaced, or whether we need to remove the old fireplace as well as the log-burner. (ie still have the brickwork there which has an old freestanding Yunca and chimney in it).
