Repair / replace garage door motor

Approx 10 year old garage door motor (dominator) not opening the door. Clicking sound when pushing remote suggests it may be a circuit issue, according to one repair person's opinion, which was provided over the phone. Keen on the most cost effective option long-term. I'll only prefer repair if there's a decent chance it'll last a good while longer. Side note: This is for a rental property.
