I have a all-wooden slat bed. The posts at the foot of the bed have separated from the part of the board that connects them together. Initially I thought putting wood glue in the board holes and connecting the posts back would be fine, but they refuse to stay stable and simply slide out again and I don't think nailing them them in will work? This has lead to a large crack in the end horizontal board.
