Reupholster and repair mechanism of Lazy Boy recliner (40-ish years old) #3

I've inherited an old lazy boy chair from my grandfather. I think it needs the mechanism repaired/serviced and I'd like to get the fabric cleaned/restored or have it reupholstered in a similar fabric to current - a green velvet-ish fabric. It's getting shipped down from Auckland so don't have it to see yet but happy to either arrange a site visit or send more photos when I've got it. Looking for a job to last another 40 years if possible, not too bothered about timeframe.
