Kauri Dining Table enhancement

Hi! I've got a kauri dining table (built circa 1890) 2.5m x 1.2m in generally great condition, simply needing a matte polish up, back to a presentable state. Would want to keep it in our garage during being worked on as don't want to risk damaging it during travel. Plus, would prefer to the restoration of it a surprise to the Mrs. We're in Queenspark, Parklands, Christchurch. Have a large double garage with power and lighting. All ready to go, just don't have the time. Would like it finished in a fortnight's time when our new kitchen and flooring goes in.
