Couch Recovering

Hi there, I have a leather couch that is over 10 years old, I love the shape and frame of the couch, but it has wear and tear (mainly from my small dogs jumping on & off). I am looking to get this recovered, perhaps in fabric rather than leather if this is possible? I have no idea of cost for this but would like to explore options and any advice. Thanks
