A front entrance way/foyer area was added to this 1970's house in the 1980's. The add-on appears to be sinking as there is cracking on interior walls and the finishing lines near the ceiling have gaps. And there is an issue with water being retained in the spouting in this area. There is about 500mm clearance under the foyer area and a deck in front of it, so I imagine access should be ok if the deck is removed. From the other side (access under the house) there is about a metre of clearance. I estimate the foyer area to be about 3 metres x 4 metres. Foundations are block and wooden piles.
