I have an offer on a 76 square meter, 2 bedroom cottage in Dannevirke. It is a very old 1909 cottage and is very low to the ground, not enough clearance to climb underneath it. I'm told there is a mix of concrete and some totara piles. There is no ventilation underneath but the ground looked dry (as far as could be seen). One wall, at the rear (kitchen area) is sagging and the person who looked at it advised he thought the piles along that wall may have rotted out. I would like a pile repairer/repiling specialist to have a look and give their opinion and quotes to repair or repile. It is an investment property so looking for most cost-effective solution. Thanks.
