Foundations LBP to drive 55 timber piles 3.5m deep

Job description

House Piling
Southland

I want 55 timber piles driven into the ground at least 3.5m below ground level. Some piles are 325 SED, some 275 SED. All piles to be driven to achieve minimum sets of 10mm per blow over the final 200mm of driving using a 500kg hammer falling 1000mm (assuming 80% driving efficiency). 3 of those 55 piles need to sit at the bottom of a 1.8m deep pit (a future mechanic's pit) which you are to dig. Local digger could be hired but they don't have a post driver/drop hammer, so you are to use your own equipment to drive piles. I will mark where exactly piles need to be driven. My engineer to review test pile driving sets and depths to 4 corners of foundation prior to continuing with remaining piles. Also my engineer to review all remaining pile depth and sets prior to your driving rig leaving the site. I expect building consent granted by the end of September and I want this job completed by the end of October. Piles are yet to be purchased/delivered so if you can supply we could make that part of the contract. Please feel free to ask any questions. This job is part of a bigger scope where a concrete slab foundation needs to be built. We could discuss that too.
