Replacement Piles (part-cottage)
Job description
Repiling on South side of a small cottage, approx 6 metres length? Further piling in kitchen area (probably three new piles in kitchen). Not keen to have the cottage 'levelled' as it would be too much movement I believe. Happy to keep it where it is, but stable. Can discuss though. Number of piles on South side to be determined by contractor and written quote sought. Must be completed to current building standards. Thks.

I've been told this job was too expensive for the amount of work done. They undertook to take photos under the floor before & after, still not received. They didn't state how many piles the quote covered in writing, just verbal. eg: Quoted to 'correct the levels' of the kitchen floor but the receipt afterwards didn't state what has been done. Requested $500 over the quote price to fix floor area adjacent to the floorboard area they had cut away). I paid the extra but it is still spongy there.
