Secure piles to bearers & Fix bathroom floor

Job description

House Piling
Kapiti Coast

Kia ora. We would like a quote for the following 2 jobs (they are independent of each other): 1) Our building inspector's report says "The new concrete piles I believe have not been tied correctly to the bearers. The wire straps are not looped over the bearers and may pull off in an earthquake". The subfloor area was too low to fully access, but the inspector said that this is only a problem because he was on his own, and that if more than 1 person is doing the job, access should be fine. There are borer present in the bearers, but we are holding off from getting them treated until we have spoken to a builder about the piles. 2) The shower has a small leak in the front corner near the door hinge, due to the shower door frame being slightly separated from the shower wall. This might just need some filler, but I want to get advice. The bathroom floor is carpeted and this leak has weakened the floor in front of the shower, which is now quite soft and has a small hole. We want to fix the shower leak, fix the floor, and rip out the carpet and replace with vinyl.
