Job description

Foundation Underpinning
Hutt Valley

Timber Packers to be secured to concrete piles with galvanised steel wire ties, with holes being drilled through the piles with no holes. Bottom edge of metal wall cladding to be cut back sufficiently so that a 0.55mm Colorsteel flashing can be installed behind the bottom edge of the cladding to the timber framed walls and extended out over the top of the perimeter foundation walls, with a 5 degree minimum cross fall, over a tapered timber plate. (this is to prevent water going into the subfloor space behind the foundation walls) Small lean-to-roof installed over the heatpump where it would be difficult to install a base flashing (to divert water away from the base of the wall)
